Master Praebitorem

Some more pics of the Master.

Now all I need to do is psych myself up to paint him.

  1. Wow, that is one seriously creepy dude… I’m new to your blog, but I certainly like what I see! Question for you mate, what is that finish we can see on the pics? Is that your undercoat? If so, how come it’s all speckled like that? I’m intrigued! 🙂

    1. Thanks very much! It is my under coat. I’m trying something out. First I sprayed it chaos black, followed by a light spray with a colour called desert sand. The speckled effect comes from not pressing the nozzle of the can all the way down and waving it around, you have to do it quickly. Then I gave it a wash of Nuln oil. The idea is to layer thin coats of paint so it shines through, I’m going for a very textured flayed skin effect. We shall see what happens 🙂

      1. 8-/ Cool! Looking forward to seeing how it comes out!

  2. Brilliant. I’m looking forward to seeing it painted, even more now that I’ve read your reply to Alex.

    1. Thanks! I hope it works out 🙂
