Hi folks,
Today is just a quick post on an experiment. I’ve been playing around with making transfers and applying them to textured surfaces. The result you can see below.
This wall is a test piece for something greater and it was a great way to practice weathering and rust and all the grimness I so totally love.
It’s purpose now will be for use as a back drop for photo’s.
Great work manππ»ππ»ππ»ππ»
Thank you.
Great stuff! Is it 3d printed or did you make it in a more “old fashioned” style, and if it’s the latter then how was it done?
It was more the old fashion way. The stone rose design was 3d printed and then molded and cast. They were then stuck to a piece of wood board and the gaps filled with resin. The gw bits added and a bit of greenstuff for a few details. Then the fun texture part. Glad you like it.
Very nice!

That’s awesome mate – such a good idea for a backdrop!
Cheers mate. It was fun to make. Just need some models to pose in front of it now all grim like π
Just beautiful and grim all at once pal. Brilliant
Cheers mate.
Fantastic! I’ve been considering photographic backdrops for a few weeks now, and this has provided some real inspiration!
Cool! Glad it in inspires. π
